depthCORE.com is proud to present its 29th pack - 'A Series Of Untitled Dreams'. Given the abstract and surreal tendencies of many artists within the depthCORE collective, it is somewhat surprising that we have not had a theme along these lines previously. Viewing out artists, photographers & musicians amazing response to it, I'm sure you'll agree that 'Untitled Dreams' appears to be long overdue.
We welcome several new artists and photographers to the fold in this pack, and their debut contributions have served to make the overall aesthetic of this pack completely different to any preceding it. If each pack is a step towards greater artistic excellence for us as a collective, then this release is unarguably a major one. We take great pride in the work that is released in these exhibitions, and we hope that you enjoy each and every piece that contributes to the overall conceptual tapestry that this particular theme has spawned.
Those of you who have been following depthCORE for an extended period of time now will probably agree that our artists have an occasional tendency to ignore the theme in favour of aesthetic experimentation. Hopefully you will also agree that this is one pack where these thematic deviations are the exception, rather than the rule. This overall conceptual awareness is epitomized in long time member Ikaruga, and I hope you enjoy my candid interview with him as part of our Featured Artist material.
I would also like to take this opportunity to announce the planned expansion and development of both depthCORE Music, depthCORE Animation & depthCORE Photography. We are now accepting applications from the public for membership in both of these divisions. Please read and adhere to all application conditions before continuing, and ensure you put in a high level of effort in both your written and submitted materials.
In the mean time, please enjoy 'A Series Of Untitled Dreams'.

We wanted to share what we're working on as a team so that the road ahead is visible to all. There's still a lot of work to be done, and then a lot more to come (Team Birthday Notifications and the Drag n Drop Fav Squad - we see you!). I'm really excited about launching the sidebar and improvements to Posts. Once that stuff is out in the world it'll be time to shift a huge amount of focus to Groups - my abiding passion. Anything coming up you're excited for? Uncertain about?

I want to thank everyone who has written to me over the last few days. Whether it was positive or negative, I appreciate encountering real passion in whatever form it takes. I wrote what is below in response to a thoughtful comment I received, and felt it might be worth sharing with anyone who comes across my page in the days to come. Change can be difficult, I really do understand this. It's especially difficult because this update is such a large one. Usually updates are rolled out more incrementally on networks like ours, so the differences are less glaring. Unfortunately the old version of DA did not get this steady diet of modifications over the years, so this redesign feels a little more jarring as we give the site it's first rejuvenation in many years. We've written personal and public statements saying we're listening to concerns but honestly they mainly fall on deaf ears. I get why too - take an instance where people ask for a change or a feature and we totally agree and
