very interesting. i'd love to see more of this. the reflection doesn't seem as perfect as it should be to me... especially for a reflection on rippley water, but i guess that is pretty hard to do, lol!

Superlover, this is the most amazing piece I have ever seen. Period. The integration, the easter eggs, the cleverness, the beaty. Everything's there, with nothing to do but gape. Incredible.

Dude, this is fucking beautiful.

I love everything about it. At first glance it may not seem like much but the more you look into it, the more details and things you never knew were there you see. And just the entire concept of it all is brilliant, and I love how you top it all off with the duck doing into the other world to fit the "Trip To Elsewhere" theme.

Quick question though. Did you photoshop the ripples of the water? Or were they already there? (I dunno, maybe you got a friend to throw a rock in the pond or something. :dead:)

digging the babboons and the dog thing...and then it all gets down to the duck going off into another world...hence the "Exodus" maybe?

love it either way Justin

Daaaamn. The ripples and reflection have me way over impressed. I hope you do more photo integrations like this in the future!

The good use of contrast also really helps out the picture. There is one thing that's annoying me, that building at the top....I can't tell if I love it or hate it.

Heh, well the building happened to be in the photograph I took, and I like it because it suggests that this is happening in a 'normal' context, and is not a caricature or something....

I think that's what was getting me. I'm usually too much of a neat freak to leave stuff like that in photos. I am still amazed at the ripples and reflection, how long did the piece take you?

Just a great mixture of art you put into this, always dig your work that you mix by using photo's and 3D renders together and make it looks great!!

Nice work and Good job to dC crew's!

Brillitant Justin, you've outdone yourself on mixing reality and surreality here. I wonder whats behind the portal and beneath the surface =). All in all this is an artwork that makes you look more then twice and thats what i really appreciate about this one, just lovely.

obviously I don't have to say anything about the render or the composition cause they're unbelievable as usual. All those little details, though, with the animals, just make perfect that much better.
