now that's impressive... had a quick look through your gallery, and this caught my eye.
in this piece everything is about the atmosphere, it is just stunning, soft and deep. the chosen colour is not very usual, but fits the overall look nicely.
the small sparkles and glows round up this image :nod:
dan =)

I must say i show rather a liking to this picture, now i dont want you to get pissed because this isnt on one of your "newer newer" type picture, but then again, like you say "Dont care what other people think" ;p this image is well executed; & so is your latest vector-like work, & its not like because i prefere this im going to go comment one of your newer pictures & say 'Do your old style this sucks shit man i hate you die please kthx', because every style is different & entitled to its own reference, one should not compare styles, its like comparing sweet with savoury, two different styles. I also did comment on one of your pictures before (about the post saying i havent commented on one of your things on your journal) which was on your "Organic II", sadly it was a comment along the lines of "cool gj" (better than nothing, but still...) back then i was lazed, & i didnt see how it could be boring, my eyes are open now however, i see things differently then a while back.

The first thing that catches my eye in this image, is how you have depicted smoothness in such perfectism, the lighting & effects make for a pleasurable overall concluded feel to the picture which is truly great, im a fan of these underwater type abstracts, the reason being the major focus on smooth mixed with detail along with the subject matter, & you seem to have captured the feeling of 'underwater' (or atleast, id call it underwater) styled abstract.

Magnificent indeed is the colour scheme you seem to have chosen, there is a keen sense of desatured yet magical & saturated colouration, mixed to delight ;) the great thing is you have such a large range & variety of textures & colours, the true challenge was how you seem to have blended them all to suit the image perfectly, which is definitely quite a task as making sure compositionally colours & focus work, you've done a great job on this.

What else do i find so appealing? Well, the gradientation, i know its not 'the most detailed' or 'the most fussed about' or 'the most tendwhore'. but something about the gradientation truly captivated me, the smooth, ascending & descending range of lighting, the way it makes you focus on the textured render, i cant help but feel the presence of inner workings, as the gradient truly adds the extra touch of smooth compositional elementation.

Conceptually grand, i know this seems like flatterment, but i truly can feel all the elements crafted magically in this picture, they work so smoothly & pronoundly it is truly wonderful, but as i was saying, conceptually this has done well aswell, the smooth lighting, dispensing upon the yet again smooth shapes of the render as it is enthralled by circling fairy dust, a magical & splendid scene to behold.

Argh man, that render is so damn sexy :D its elegant, minimal feel yet sophisticated look gives it an extra touch, along with its colouration which clearly shows how lighting effects the scene as the gradientised 'sun' atop seems to affect it, the purple & other various dusty brushing lives alongside the render with excellent outcome, like a slowed explosion as it draws energy, the thing that makes this feel even better is the fact that you have thought about lighting, lighting makes a big difference in a scene, as it pronounces, denounces & can make everything feel in place.

Emotionally i find this picture tangles amany thoughts, its like a slow combustion of thought eminating amongst the crowd, or a crusador amongst oblivion, its a sense of 'a whole' being focused upon by society, like a building in which people inhabitate, or a morale in which everyone circulates around, like the sun in which earth & the planets orbit, its a focus amongst nothingness; a thing where there seems nothing else, a signal of spread life in darkness.

Keep up the good work man, do whatever you like, dont care what other people think, do what you feel is best, & only what you wish, broaden your horizons, express your emotion with art, do it YOUR way! :)
